Subject
This image provides insight into Knox College's myths about our relationship to indigeneity through prairie restoration at Green Oaks.
Description
This mural is a large image of the Green Oaks prairie printed on a wall at the top of the stairs on the third floor of Alumni Hall. One image of this mural is zoomed out, and one image is zoomed in to show the white text in the bottom left of the mural. This text includes a quote by Paul Shepard which asks: "How are we to become native to this land?" Below this quote is smaller text describing what Green Oaks Biological Field Research Station is, the history of Knox College, and who Paul Shepard was.
